A Musician, Producer and Sound-Artist focussing on creating artificial environments through synthesis and field recordings, beat based improv using web-browsers and criminally pretty bits in the middle.

BIO Sam Slater was born in England in 1989, and graduated Leeds University with a First Class Honours BA Music Degree in Experimental + Orchestral Composition in 2013. While working as a producer, composer and sound-artist, both freelance and for Wasch Maschine Music in Berlin, he has realised several international group and solo sound-art exhibitions, as well as production credits on UK Top Ten singles. In 2015 he finished a project to record and remix civilian sounds in ex-conflict areas, and completed a studio apprentiship working under Valgeir Sigurðsson, Ben Frost and Paul Evans in Greenhouse Studios, Iceland. In 2016 he is scoring April Wernham's dystopian poetry novel, Dance Home, and continuing to release material on experiental imprint, All Female Parliament.
